Riva Ligure is a small, picturesque city on the coast of Liguria. A lot of villages on the coast or the inland were founded during or before the Roman time, old, preserved ruins provide evidence of this. Nature lovers can go on long walks through olive groves, but also through vineyards and chestnut forests. The neighbouring Castellaro has a stunning golf course. Along the coast you will find a new panorama cycling path, starting 2009 it can be driven on from San Remo to Imperia.
